Your child's teacher sent home a link to sign up for conferences this week. Please make sure that you sign up for a 30 minute block of time.  This will be the time where students will be able to share their work and the teacher will give you specific data on your child's progress in their academic areas.  If you are requesting additional time to meet with the teacher you can sign up for an additional 15 minute slot.  As always, teacher are available to meet at anytime throughout the year for parent questions and check ins, this is a time for celebration on your child's growth.  Let your child's teacher know if you have any questions.

Flagstone School Accountability Committee.
We are still looking for anyone who might be interested in filling our vacancy.  If you are please fill out this survey.

Dismissal Change
In order to ensure our students safety we are constantly refining our practices as we see needed changes or tweaks. Our staff has been discussing our dismissal policy, one that has been in effect since the building opened, and felt is was time to make a change to ensure greater staff supervision. We started this week with the following procedures:
  • At 3:57 pm K-3 staff will walk their classes out of the building and this will be their dismissal time.
  • At 4:00 pm 4-6 staff will walk their classes out of the building and this will be their dismissal time.
  • If you have an older sibling that usually meets a younger one for dismissal they will be allowed to be dismissed to their siblings class at 3:57.
Let us know how you think this is working!

School Safety
Please help us monitor who is in our building at all times by always signing in and out at the front office.  If you need to pick up your child during the school day please come to the front office, sign them out, and we will call them to the office.  We appreciate your partnership in this.

BACKPACK PROGRAM

Backpack Program is looking for non-perishable breakfast foods, soups, and canned fruits and vegetables to be donated. We appreciate all the help! :) Have a wonderful fall break.
