FSE Updates
Wish Week:
Student Council is excited to announce that FSE will be participating in the DCHS 2018 Wish Week!Wish Week is a community-wide fundraiser, where the Douglas County community partners with the Make-a-Wish foundation to grant the wish of a child with a terminal illness.  This year  Flagstone will be helping Douglas County High School to sponsor 5-year-old boy named Caleb.  His wish is to go on a Marvel Cruise!   As a Douglas County Feeder, we are striving to help pass our overall goal of $40,000 with the help of Castle Rock businesses and other DCHS feeder schools. We will kick off Wish Week on Friday, January 19th, with a school-wide assembly run by DCHS Student Council at 3:15.

Lunchroom Protocols
  • We have tweaked the lunchroom procedures for grades 1-5 to ensure our students are maximizing their time to eat, and are following the safety rules in the lunchroom.  Students are eating with their classrooms and have an EA assigned to support them during this time.  Fridays will be open seating for all grade levels.  We will continue these procedures until students are able to move back to open seating while still following all procedures.
  • Feeder SAC (School Accountability) Meeting
    • The Douglas County Feeder School SAC’s are hosting a joint SAC meeting on February 12th at 5pm at Douglas County High School.  We hope you can attend.  The agenda will be forthcoming.
Student Council Updates:
All Student Council Reps have a meeting tomorrowFriday, January 19th at 8:15 in the Learning Commons.

Enrichment classes

Request from our Book Room Committee:
Our new book room is in need of gallon-sized Ziploc brand Freezer Bags. We would
like to use all the money raised from the Fun Run to purchase new books, instead of bags
for storage. We would appreciate any donation of Ziploc brand gallon-sized Freezer bags.
Thank you so much for your support!
