CogAT TESTING:
The week of September 11-15, all Flagstone students in grades 3 and 6 and any “referral” students in grades 1, 2, 4 or 5 will take the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) to determine strengths and possible identification for gifted programming.

FSE Prevention Framework
Our school psychologist and school interventionist will begin teaching in classes this month around our September theme of Bully Prevention. The first lesson is around identifying the difference between bullying and normal conflict to help students identify the difference. They will then teach students how to understand the difference between tattling and bullying so they will know how to report bullying behavior. Please see the below charts to help with this discussion at home.

To all Students and Parents:
We will start up our snack program on Tuesday, September 5th. Students can only purchase snacks/a la carte items from their account if they have money available or with cash, if they prefer.
If you would rather your child not purchase snacks or seconds on entrees, please fill out the "Extra Food Form" on the FSE website. Send completed form with your child and have them turn it into the kitchen.
